I am thinking about installing either the VT or GG foglamp kits from LLTek on my 98.5 1.8T. I have heard all of the stories about LLTek, so I want to hear some more about these kits.
Who makes the kits? Are they LLTek propriatary? How is the fit and finish? Is bodywork modification, preparation, painting necessary, or is it a plug and play conversion? Does anyone have any pictures of these kits installed, (LLTek only has one close up picture of each which doesn't really show how the kit looks in relation to the whole car).
Thanks for your help,
Antony

Sorry, I don't have an answer for you, but I was wondering what you've heard of LLTek. It sounds like they have a reputation, but I don't know if it's bad or good. I was thinking about getting the same lights.

that some members have had the wrong order shipped to them, that delivery takes considerable time and that LLTek staff have been difficult to contact when an order needed to be sorted.
My only experience with LLTek were a couple of questions about their foglamps which they replied to in less than 24 hours. Anyway, I'd like to avoid an "I told you so" situation!

There's a guy in the classifieds selling the HID headlights used and the GG fogs lights unopened. I want the headlights, do either of you want the fogs?
He's firm at $1200. How does $275 (73% of $379) for the fog lights sound? I'll pay $925 (71% of $1299) for the headlights.

I ordered my foglights from LLTek back in Jan. early Feb. when they first came out. I had no trouble with LLTek. The salesmen were helpful, answering a number of questions for me before I ordered. I had my car stereo shop install them, and the guy had no trouble, though he said because of time, etc., he couldn't get them aimed correctly. This, I had done at the dealer, next time i took the car in. They did charge me labor for this, though.
As far as they look. I think they look great. While people on this forum would know that they are not original equipment (we all know what to look for on each model year), you'd be hard pressed to find someone off the street (even an A4 owner) to tell that they are aftermarket. They seem to cast as much light, if not more than the original fogs (i had mine disconnected), and make the car look much sportier. Hope this helps. If anyone has any other questions, let me know. I don't have any pictures available, but I could work on that, if you need one.
