Hey guys,
New to the S4/6 forum now that I got an S4 last week. What a great car! Anyhow Im getting ready to do the timing belt and need a crank lock tool. Is there anyone who could loan one if I sent them collateral? Im in the PA/DE/NJ line. Thanks, JP

It's meant for the 10v, but if you wedge it against the ground it works GREAT!

http://cuatrokoop.audi-quattro.org/crank-tool.htm</a

Not flaming ya, just want to make sure folks know that your method is not without risk. And how do you torque it to spec when you re-assemble?

I've got one I loan out. I may be too far for you though. I'm in CT. I don't charge fellow S people to use it, but I won't ship. If you are going to be up this way, let me know. It is currently on loan, but I expect it back any day now.
