Just got back from WV and the QCUSA Summit Point driving school. Everyone had a great time and I personally want to thank everyone who attended. We had, in all, about 52 drivers/instructors at the event and because of the relatively small numbers, and the 2 mile track, everyone got PLENTY of track time.

We had 3 excursions during the event, all on Tuesday. One driver went out on cold tires on his first lap and went right into the gravel. The second driver couldn't dump speed at turn one and went straight into the gravel. No damage except for pride for them.

The third incident was at the end of the day. A TTq flipped 1/4 of the way. He came into Turn 10 too fast, slid and tried to correct. He got sideways and hit the gravel, and it slowed him down, but as he sank the left side wheels into it, the car flipped SSSSLLLLOOOWWWWLLLY onto its left side. The only damage was a dented door and spilled oil.

But the dinner went great, with lots of prizes from: LL Tek, Autothority, Valley Motors, Heishman Audi and 1552 Design. Almost everyone went home with a prize.

Thanks to everyone who attended. I'm on the phone right now with the people at Summit to set up next years event!

I sold my 98 2.8 two months ago and I should be getting my S4 within a week.

Jon, how soon do you think the next event will be? If I can't wait, I'll probably go out there for some other school such as CarGuys.

Thanks,
Andrew
