When I lived in Sacto my neighbors, as well as their friends, were all in bands and one of the guitarists for Deftones, Stephen, was always one of the folk around mis-behaving, drink to much beer, helping pack equipment or in his case trying to get people out to his shows, which rocked.
First time I saw their video on the vid, about 3 years later, I about S#(T myself. Small world.

I've got a CD that's a recording of 4 cheliosts (sp?) performing 8 Metallica songs. The group is Apocalyptica.
It is moving. You have the driving force of the original song turned classic by these four, driving, stringed voices. It's a wonderful and dangerous thing to listen to while driving.

You could drive from San Francisco to San Diego in the time it would take to listen to Die Walkure & Gotterdammerung.
