I was looking on their website and saw that their water and oil lines are $300. I remember some people saying that they were $100. How come they went up in price?

They didn't have a kit back when I got my turbo. I got all the fittings and hoses I needed from another company, came out to less than $200.

The Oil feed, water supply and water drain are all AN-6 lines.
You need to get a M10metric to AN-6 fitting to go into your water manifold (verify that, but its metric to AN-6).

For the turbo you need two 3/8" NPT to An-6 fittings for the water.

You need to get two Garret Oil drain flanges with Gaskets. Two 1/2" NPT to AN-10 fittings for these garret flanges. (The garret oil drain flange has the same bolt gage as the Audi oil housing)

Suitable length of An-6 and AN-10 SS hose with Fittings of proper bends. I believe its two straight An-6, one straight An-10, One 90Deg An-10, one 180 An-6 and one 45 AN-6.

For the oil feed line, I machined up some aluminum flanges. One for the oil housing with the Audi bolt gage and tapped for 1/4" NPT. One for the garret turbo also tapped for 1/4" NPT. Some people thread into the garret turbo for oil, but it looks narrow.

Here are my flanges with the Fittings inserted.

edit: When using An-6 fittings you don't want anything less than 1/4" NPT or so; otherwise, there is a necked down section in the line which can simulate a blockage and a pressure loss. Hence the large fittings on the oil feed line so I have a constant 1/4" line from the oil housing to the turbo with no reduction in diameter.

Metric fittings are available from Aeroquip and should be used at the Banjo bolt fitting on the water manifold. Its M10 IIRC.

The Garrett Oil Drain flange is a common part easily available from any good US turbo shop for 20 bucks each or so.

Use a 1/2" NPT to AN-10 fitting(one straight, one 90deg). Two AN-10 hose ends and about 1' of AN10 hose. Make sure you get two gaskets.

Its a total fluke that the Audi oil housing has the same bolt gage as the Garret turbo. You might need longer internal Hex bolts. Good bolts for Audis can be found at Eagle Day.<ul><li><a href="http://www.eagleday.com/sohebo.html">http://www.eagleday.com/sohebo.html</a</li></ul>

They have all Aeroquip fittings you would need, Hoses, metric adapters, as well as firesleeving.<ul><li><a href="http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/aqp.htm">http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/aqp.htm</a</li></ul>
