My roommate bought this for his TT and now sold it to me. I know bypass valves are better(from what I've heard). This is my first Turbo car so I don't have lots of experience on BPV/BOV's. I had the Bosch "sport" valve from Hoppen on my car before I put this one on... and the GFB piece seems to hold boost better between shifts.

Venting to atmosphere seems like kind of a waist of usable pressure.

what are you thoughts?<ul><li><a href="http://www.gofastbits.com/hybrid.htm">Click here for all the info on this product</a></li></ul>

My car runs perfectly fine with it.

How do you have it adjusted? I put mine aprox. 50% in(maybe a less). I'm running the Mihnea chip set w/ no other HP mods.

Non-adjustable... but who cares? It's about 50/50...

venting any metered air to atmosphere isn't a great idea with Motronic...

You're risking potential early failure to o2 sensors and cats...

Set the valve at full bypass.

Also, I don't want to get into a debate with the guy who says it wokrs fine on his S-car...

The car may not throw a CEL and it will run fine but there's no arguing the fact that that metered air is no longer there and therefore you'll run extra rich between shifts, etc.

Thanks for putting that in type Steve(I like to hear what other people experiences with this valve is. I understood what you were saying and thank you for your help!)

I'm experiencing fluttering when I let off durring half boost... so that tells me that I want to back it off some... but Steve says to tighten it all the way? I'll give it a shot tonight(after I install my dahlback intake:-D) and see what the results are.

I bought the valve for $75.00 used only a couple of weeks.

Thanks for the feedback!
