Anyone know why the body of the audi/jetta/passat look so much like a bmw ?? ANy reason for this close similarity ? I think the resmblence is weird and wonder why ?

I see no reason for Audi to change the A4 body style since all the car makers seem to be attempting to emulate the 5 year-old design with their compact sports sedans. Audi should refine, not redesign.

I park next to one at work everyday and they do look similar.

It was the A4 that sent BMW back to the drawing board, Hence MY2000 3 series. BMWs just dont appeal to me anymore. I'm not sure why. I prefer Audi or Mercedes.

Like I said: Audi should refine the A4, not redesign.
