I bought the 99.5 A4 with the concert stereo. I noticed that the 00' has an in-dash stereo. The whole frame fro the mid console looks different but is there a way to make it work? I really want an in-dash CD and could entertain any other options but I hate the thought of going after market. It never looks right.

I have an Alpine 3DC in-dash changer in my A4. The install was expensive, but looks amazing. Due to the oversized Audi head unit, the gap was filled with black plexiglass for a perfect fit. Even with the wood trim, the black contrast is attractive and the stereo is incredible. In-dash changer is the best of both worlds.

If so, where did you get it? I want to turn that black plastic around the stereo and climate controls into a matching wood panel.
