I get a nasty squeal when starting cold most of the time these days. lasts about a second or two. I am scared of it being something bad ($$$), but wonder if it might just be a starter bushing or the like. Any btdt's on this one out there?

Have you popped the hood and had someone start the car to see where it could be comming from?

That helped me diagnose a 5000 noise problem which turned out to be just the belts...

...problem in my 80q. Maybe you have it too??
