"Whats the big deal with S6's anyway?"

I mean I could get an S4 for thousands less and mod the crap out of it and have money left over...

The only reason that the S6 is so more expensive is probably due to it's limited production and the fact that it is a newer model year wise.

What else is so different about the S6 that it constitutes such a difference in price and prestige?

Engine is the same, right?

Whats the differences body wise?(A6 style vs 100)
I've never seen an S4 or S6 side by side to compare them. The only thing I noticed was different molding color...

Now you guys have something to post about! Fire away:)

Very minor changes, but the S6 (well, some anyway) got the 3-spoke S-cars steering wheel and Avus wheels... some early '95s had the 4-spoke steering wheel and wheels from the S4.

http://www.urs4.com/s4s6/s4s6.html#8

I just passed on a '95.5 S6 for $20K and there is a '95 S6 for $17K somewhere on the S-Car list.

As for your question, well...you're right; there isn't that much difference. Just keep in mind that if you are into that 3-spoke sport steering wheel, it is worth $1000 alone. Of course, there are goodies found in the earlier models that aren't found on the S6 and vice versa.

The model differences are actually posted further back in this forum somewhere by yours truly. If you can't find them, they are on my site.

You're right - damn this forum is slow! I venture to the other forums, but it's a nightmare out there! ;-)

those were pretty good deals. Around here in Michigan I usually see S6's in the mid 20K's and up price wise. I've never seen one below 20K. Different markets I suppose?

I did check out your site and I found all the info I was looking for! Just what I needed:)

Keep up the good work over there at UrS4!
