anyone know anything about these...they claim, next best thing to xenon or HID...?

Those bulbs stink! Tried them and they were much dimmer than even stock. Don't waste your time or money on them. Get xenons... I did and they are one of the best investments I've ever made.

Xenon bulbs are way brighter than the halogen bulbs, but the xenon bulbs cannot be interchanged with the halogens. The xenon bulbs need a different lighting assembly. They require a different igniter and ballast to fire them up. A new xenon headlight assembly for your audi will run between $1000-1600 depending on where you purchase them.
