No question that a new Depo brand Clear Corners does not fit an A6 out of the box.

It is obvious, they simply do not insert far enough into the housing to allow the retainer clip to click into place.

Before taking a Dremel to adjust, which tab(s) or retainers have you guys been triming down? And, on the Depo or on the stock housing?

Thanks, Tom G

I trimmed a little off the plastic on the housing and they fit perfectly.

Certainly don't fit perfectly on A6 lights then...more specifically where did you trim off plastic? On the clear corner itself or on the corner receiver?

These suckers stick out 1/16-1/8" beyond flush with my headlights. That's after leaning on them with my 187 lbs. These is no way the lock in tab will snap in as is.

If you compare the OEM lights and the Depos side-by-side you'll see there is too much plastic in that 'crack' on the Depos.

Housing = receptor area corner slides into?

Crack thingee area = on the clear corner itself?

OK, so I'm dumb today although, it sounds like I have two different instructions......? Both of which could probably work, right?

Sorry guys, it's a Saturday....

Thanks, Tom G

(ie. NOT the corner)

But if you trim it on the housing, the OEM amber lights will have a loose fit. So if you think you may go back to those, try to trim the corner.

....will look at the clear corner a bit further as a trim candidate. Never know if I may need to reinstall the OEM units.
