I have a 92 Audi 100CS. I hooked up a battery charger and there is a relay in the driver's foot well that clicks on and off continuously. It's not numbered but it's located behind the 329 window relay and plugs into a red socket. My windows close and door locks also keep locking themselves even after I unlocked them several times. In addition to that my trunk release keeps clicking when I have the trunk open.
Should I call a priest to have my car exorcized?
Somebody PLEASE help.

I should add that I removed the battery to charge it and after reinstalling it, the nightmare continues.

Any aftermarket bits? Radio, alarm, etc?

No aftermarket alarm that I'm aware of. No radio of any kind, old radio broke never bothered to replace it. All of the electrical areas of the car are dry with no signs of any kind of moisture. I checked both the drivers and the passengers side floor mats and foot wells, as well as under the rear seat.

Sorry,
How does this affect my window issue. My climate controls work fine

I don't know how they are linked but when I pull the 329 window relay, the relay behind it(problem relay)stops clicking.
Does anyone know what this relay does? Its the only one that plugs into a red socket.

I thought the locks had individual accuators, not a central pump

You said you have "a relay in the driver's foot well that clicks on and off continuously"

the TSB says one of the symptoms is a clicking under the dash.

If you're truly grasping at straws, as it sounds like, I thought you might like to take the 2 minutes to run the wire described in the TSB and see if it might solve your problem.

States that a "B" suffix pump will kill the battery and buzz the window relay. TSB in picture poster.

The battery drain and buzzing relays will stop. BUT you will no longer be able to close the windows and sunroof with the key at the door. In addition the two relays in the left kick panel may have been damaged by clicking/buzzing.
Or you could replace the pump.
