I need to fill an indent in my bumper thats about 2" in diameter (caused by hitting a trailer hitch) Its about 1/4" deep at its lowest point. Any tips on materials I should use would be much appreciated.
TIA

the counter folks could probably show you the perfect stuff.

true bondo only sticks to metal or bondo. spot putty sticks to about anything.

don't forget to add a flex agent to the paint if you're respraying it. not absolutely necessary, but well worth the cost inthe long run.

I dont know anything about body work but I figure most of it can be covered by a front license plate.
Thx Dave

bumpers have been the easiest things I've worked on to date as far as body work goes. they take less then 5 minutes to pull, only a few minutes to sand and prep, and you can spray them at the same time you're working on the 'real' problem.

And after 100 miles they've got rock chips and parking scrapes on them again that camouflage all your mistakes. I'd say they're the perfect thing to start with if you're looking at breaking into DIY body work and painting.
