Not this time. All wires, and vacuum hoses appear unmolested. I pulled the covers and checked the timing belt. It's in place and working properly. I put a timing light on several spark plug wires and no flashing = no spark!! My DVD drive ate my Bentley CD so I'm in the dark. Distributor? Pulse generator? Anybody???

Time to break out VAG-Com, read the codes and go from there.

...to 156k before having to buy a code reader. In summary, we've had ZERO problems with this car! We bought it in 99 with 58k on it. It's a very easy car to love!!
