Sorry for the bad pictures, but it was hard to find good sunlight in Indy in the winter ;)<ul><li><a href="http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/car/560411791.html">Click</a></li></ul>

The original photo is one I took after we towed a Ford F-150 with a blown transmission, out of the roadway and up onto the shoulder. The National Park Ranger showed up, so I took a photo of all 3 of us lined up.

I thought it would make a good "chase scene" so I took the Ford out, completed the front end of the Park Ranger's prowler, and moved the shoulder of the road over.

Holg took over from there, making it a night scene, adding the "spinning" wheels on our car, and all the snow dust, headlight beams, etc.

Once I saw that, I asked if he could animate it....

She was just out for a weeks visit with her husband. I tossed them the keys to the Avant and my Garmin Nuvi GPS and off they went. Came back all smiles....."We want one."

A friend of mine has a Magellan and it kind of sucks IMO. It's constantly trying to find your location and doesn't give nearly enough notice before a turn.

MPG: '95 A6Q Avant - 202K miles, and a bit tired; driving mostly secondary highways.

30 fillups from about 190K - 202K

Avg = 19.74 mpg
Max = 22.3
Min = 16.7

I've had the Garmin Nuvi 350 since Dec. '06. I use it with just it's built in fold up antenna. It's fantastic. Runs circles around the TomTom and Magellans.

A buddy bought one, and his company had a TomTom so he took them out and did a side-by-side.....Garmin was much more accurate.

The only time I've had mine not be correct was up in a rural mountain neighborhood near Yosemite Nat'l Park, and even then, it had me with 1/2mi of the address.

They were $500 new in '06 and I think you can get the 350 on ebay for $250 right now. I'd recommend getting the bean-bag dash mount for it because the suction cup mount it comes with doesn't always want to stick to curved glass.
