found a better hood, a better rear bumper, and a better headlight assembly. At least it will pass safety inspection now.

I also ran across a dark green 96 A6Q Avant and a silver 96 A6Q sedan at the yards yesterday. (edited color...I'm partially color blind and what looked blue yesterday looked green today when I took off my sunglasses.)

Any chance you can source the retractable cargo cover in black to fit a '95 A6 Q Avant? Thanks!

hey DaveInSaltLake, i read your post and noticed that you saw a 96 A6 sedan in the junkyard, if you make another run to there do you think you could check and see if it had the Rear taillight assembly (the side with the lock in it) becuase mines broken and ive been looking at all junkyards i can think of to see if they had it, and if they do, could you pick it up and ill pay you for the part and the shipping

just a thought

thanks

well if there are some small cracks around the lock hole that dont really affect the structure of the piece and its cheap, then its good enoughm, basically if it is a full piece and cheap its good enough

thanks

ummm idk, under 50 bucks,i mean if they're from a junk yard they are usually pretty cheap arent they?

you'd be amazed at what some junkyards will charge for lights and bumpers.

I bought a tail light for a co-worker's 1988 MB this weekend and got dinged about $30 for it.

How is the rear bumper on the silver '96? I could really use it +the 3 trims above it--but I'm guessing shipping to CT would be expensive.....
