well i asked a while ago about what would cause my car to make a squeaking noise when i hit bumps or uneven parts in the road. I found out that it is my rear control arms (tie rods)that are whats causing it. So after a while of just dealing with it becuase i didnt want to fork out the cash for new one, its finnally gotten so annoying that i order new rear control arms today. But is it a terribly difficult process to put new ones on yourself? i mean i have allot of equiptment here in the garage and some experience with this kind of stuff, but not much. id really like to put these in myself, so i can learn how, plus i dont really want to fork out the cash for mechanics labor, becuase im sure you all know how much taht costs.
So any input, how do you go about replacing these? ive heard something about counting the number of turns or something like that then puting the new ones on the same amount or something like that, idk
any input?
thanks
