I have checked all the connections under the seat to no avail. Any other ideas from anyone that may of had this problem before? I think it may be the switch on the door, but I am not sure.

I would check the wiring in the door jamb. These wires seem to wear and fray if not break from the constant opening and closing of ther door. This mainly causes power window problems, but may be your culprit too.

as through there was no ground wire because once i grounded a couple pins I got the lights to turn on in the switch. I am no electronics expert though, so I may be wrong. Anyone have a wiring diagram for the seat memory switch?

It is the brown wire You may want to check for fault there.
