I recently purchased an A4 that sat stationary for nearly 2 years. I notice when I'm drivivng the car veers to the right. It is not drastic, but when I release the wheel it gradually drifts. The dealer claims that the wheels are properly aligned. Could the tire be out of round by virtue of it sitting stationary for so long?

Sitting that long is definitely bad for the tires, I would suggest taking a real close look at them to be certain they're good. As for the drifting, does it do this regardless of the grade of the road? A characteristic of the A4 is that if the road is banked (as occurs when entering a turn) the car naturally begins turning in that direction. This gives a cool sucked into the turn feeling. It is also noticeable when on a road which is not level (most aren't), most are graded to the right to allow the water to run off. If you're not sure find a flat area like a parking lot and check it out. If it is still pulling, find out if the alignment is dead on or just within spec.
