Was wondering if the performance gains from the catback system is much, if any, higher than a remus exhaust with a glass pack resonator? Would going with the remus and resonator be cheaper than a cat-back? Any benefits/drawbacks of either? Thanks for any help!
Well, most people say that with a turbo
car the less backpressure the better, and
most of the cat-back systems you can buy include
larger diameter tubing, but if you are just
running the stock teenytiny turbo, then
you may not do so well with that larger diameter
tubing...I have a friend with a GS-T, and his stock turbo, while small, is easily larger
than my KKK03. He had an HKS exhaust but the
tubings diameter was so large that he was losing
a little bit of power so he sized down to a
Thermal R&D, and got that power back and then
some...food for thought...
