hey guys,
while on a road trip this week, my 100 CS' dashboard lights went dead at night. I had been driving for a while with my headlights on; as far as I know, I did absolutely nothing to directly cause this (I didn't touch any control except the gas and the wheel). This has happened once before, fuse #7 being the culprit. That time I replaced the fuse and the problem was solved. Unfortunately, this time when i replace the fuse, as soon as I move the headlight lever, the fuse blows. I tried putting a 10 amp fuse in (it normally wants a 5 amp one), and the story was the same, although the lights work for about 30 seconds before blowing the fuse.
Anyone have any ideas?
thanks!
