So a while ago I posted that I ordered a keyless entry system from Germany off eBay. <a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/Remote-Keyless-Entry-System-Audi-and-Mercedes_W0QQitemZ8007483741QQcategoryZ72220QQssPa geNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem">Link to eBay auction</a>

The instructions are all in German and unless I am completely missing something, they would make little to no sense even in German. All they provided me with are the colors of the wires, which I already know, and the functions of 4/10 of them.

If anyone has any insight it would be greatly appreciated.

Top six wires do not have functions:

It would appear from this diagram that i should cut the unlock/lock signal wire running from the front door, completely disabling the factory system.

From the looks of it, you're not disabling the factory system because the green and gray wires are taking the place of the cut.

I have translated it all already but thanks. I hooked the unit up to a 12v battery and got the functions of the wires I think I need.

I am in the process of installing it right now so I will post my progress later tonight.
