I guess there's no dipstick for the tranny? How does one go about checking ATF fluid levels?
On my V8 quattro there is no dipstick, but you can drain and add 4 quarts, and repeat. This works well as a easy way to refresh and top off the system, curious if the A6 requires something similar.
Reason I am asking is that the transmission seems to shift kind of hard under modest throttle application. If I am hard into the throttle she seems to shift much more smoothly. Anybody run into this before?
Thanks in advance,
Ted
