My keyless entry fob is broken. Can I buy a switchblade-type key to replace it? (The car is a 1997 Avant)

The FCC ID of the key fobs were similar (MZ 24108194 for the fob vs MZ 241081963 for the switchblade) so I thought it may be compatible.
