it makes a lot of noise during turning and some during normal driving. I tried to tighten the top nut but it was already tight. Has this been a problem for anyone else and do you know how to fix it? The struts are the cheap Gabriels so is it the struts that are designed incorrectly and need a spacer/washer added to give the nut more compression?

The mounts look fine though. It seems like there should be more stress on the strut so it won't twist at the top.

I put plastic cup from the bottle under the strut just to test. And of cource the noise dissaperd, but not for a long since the plastic cup got teared off pretty quickly

so putting anything(plastic or rubber) inside the shaft solves my problem. again until the rubber wears off.
It could be that you have a different problem.
I think I just need to buy different strut that sits more tight inside the shaft.(like originals :) Boge i think )
