I know the power steering definitely requires special mineral fluid, "the green stuff", but what about the brake fluid? I think the user manual mentions that any brake fluid higher than DOT-3 should work, no matter mineral or synthetic. But recently, I saw some posting mention mineral brake fluid, which scares the hell out of me since I always use Valvoline synthetic. What's the truth?
