Any way to do a search through available inventory. I have asked my local dealers to look for a specific car. So far, I've gotten terrible response. There's always some excuse like, "we don't really know what we're getting until it shows up here." What a bunch of B.S. They are also way too narrow minded to offer "close" options. It's either exactly what I asked for, or nothing. Anyway, Audi obviously knows what was built, shipped, etc. Would AoA be any use here? I've got this $$$ burning a hole in my pocket, yet no one seems to want to take it.

I have an order placed with carorder.com (great price), but don't wait to wait till Jan.

There seems to be at least 2 "classes" of Audi dealers. One that has good contact with AOA, and get what they want, can order, etc., and the other, apparently smaller, multi-brand, dealer that get cars from some sort of "pool" they have no control over.

Sometimes an inventory search means they have to get the car from other dealers across the country. They can see what other dealers have on their lot on the list of inventory, but often they are reluctant to get the car from others because they either have to trade the car with one of their own or there's a fee involved... I suggest go to another dealer.
