I got a set of new mirror glass for my 94 100S. The passenger glass pop right and the new one snapped in securely. BUT I can't figure out how to get the drivers side glass out. On the passenger the side I turned the mirror in and the glass popped out, that doesn't work on the driver side. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I did a search a found nothing.

I did another search and did find some info, pry out carefully the mirror from the bottom and it should come out, reconnect the wires first then push on only pushing on the center of the glass, this post was talking about the passenger side, is the Driver side the same procedure. Thanks again.

I have a 97 A6qw and need new glass on both sides. The dealer has told me that they only sell the entire $300+ mirror assembly.

I bought two new mirror glass yesterday for my 94, $50 and change for the driver side and$127 and change for the passenger, they pry out from the from the bottom on the passenger side, the mirror should pop out, there are two wires for the heating Device. According to my part list the 92 to 97 are the same and the mirrors are replacable Here is the part number for the The mirror glass Right side part number is 4A1857536AD, Left mirror 480857535. Your dealer is scaming you, both mirrors are replaceable. When you install them center on the adjust motor and PRESS ON THE GLASS IN THE CENTER ONLY. I am having a problem with the driver side, when I press the adjustment switch the drivers side goes right and left, but not up and down. I think I should have centered the white arm that is attached to the bottom of the adjust motor and then mounted the left mirror. I'm tried taking the new left mirror off but it won't budge, so I am going to leave it and when I feel more cofident I'll try and get it off and center the white arm. My parts list is from an official Audi parts book, so don't let the dealer tell you no again.

side mirror adjusting properly, perhaps someone has an idea. I think I know what I did wrong, but otherwise it was a easy job to replace the mirrors.
Thanks,
