Well I have been running with a bad cvboot for about 6 months. (I know I am lucky it hasn't ruined the joint) But quite frankly it is still turning over, my car has a crunch in it anyway. And as long as it goes (and goes quickly from 30-60) I havn't really cared. I know shoot me.

I have on the other hand cared about many other repairs that may not have been needed. Entire timing belt job done in feb, with a complete plug replacement and all filters. Doing this last repair before I go back to the wintery conditions in rochester and will hopefully avoid any joint problems.

Any advice from the crew other than what I see on the board.

The picture was back in febuary, you don't want to see what it looks like now! It's painful.

I just wanted to see if anyone else had the same problem, or begin a discussion over this issue. It wasn't really a "how do I do this" question. Just a topic of conversation
