I brought my 99.5 2.8QMS 3 months ago w/broken bose concert head unit. Dealer (Brookline VW Audi, MA) installed reconditioned unit which is all scratched up, and in the process badly scratched the climate control and center console, and the reconditioned unit still has the same problem as the original. I'm so pissed off and the service manager is a moron. I would avoid Brookline VW Audi's service dept. like the plague. Hopefully AOA will rectify this situation ASAP.

My cigarette lighter wasn't connected so I brought it in for service to Continental in FFLD, CT. They fixed that, but left me with scratches on the wood trim and climate control face. I didn't notice until on the road heading home. I turned back and as I pulled into the service area, the mechanic walked out, almost as if he knew what was coming next. I showed him the problem and he admitted it was his fault. Long story short, I brought it in a week later and they fixed the climate control damage but not the wood. They said, "But it's not a big scratch." What the %#&@%!!! I called AoA and things got better from there. Geez, that took a lot of explaining. Sorry.

Good you explained that. And you better believe that AOA is reading these posts. Multiple complaints about dealerships is a NONO for any self-respecting auto company. Keep complaining about these things and use all the words you want.
