MY stock audi speakers on my 94' 100S are like done. So I went and got some pioneer's after going through bestbuys do these speakers fit your car thing and they did well atleast they said they did. The factory speakers have 3 screws but all new speakers have 4 and are shaped in a square kinda. Has anyone swapped speaks and if so what kind and how?

if you had a bose system in your car you need to take the doorpanel off and rip the front amplifier out. or somewhat rewire the whole front speaker system. bestbuy has no clue in my opinion and you always get some advice somewhere else before buying anything at bestbuy or circiuitcity.

I don't have the bose spearker system, but I think best buy just told me the wrong size. I need to go back there and get a smaller size
it will still have 4 screws but I was just wondering if anyone else bought some because it is a real tight fit and with only three screws and most of the new speakers having four I Was wondering how they installed new speakers.

buy either a smaller size speaker or take a saw and fit the new speakers in.

I got it fixed, all I needed was a smaller size speaker. 4" to be exact.

I put them in and they sound a whole lot better than the broken one did but they dont soundas good as I think they should. I was wondering what that third wire is in our front door speakers, I just hooked up the pos/neg wires and wrapped some electrical tape around the third one that didnt realy go to anything. So I guess its all good. It just seems like it is getting too much base or something but it should be able to handle I got some nice pioneers
