View Full Version : So is there a way to take my key for my '91 Audi and put it on a flip key chain?! It has been done before though. GR8_100CSQ 07-18-2003, 03:47 AM What were the steps in setting it up? And were you able to mod the remote? After that, I filed the top of the key to my car so that it would fit the switchblade mechanism. I used the old key as a template. I tried to file a little groove in the new key so I could re-use the pin, but my groove was slightly off, so I just shoved the new key in there real, real hard. I hammered it in there, so I think it oughta stay. I'm thinking about taking it back out and squirting some epoxy or something in there. |
