What were the steps in setting it up?
And were you able to mod the remote?

First, I removed the old key by taking out the little pin that holds it in the switchblade mechanism. After that, I filed the top of the key to my car so that it would fit the switchblade mechanism. I used the old key as a template. I tried to file a little groove in the new key so I could re-use the pin, but my groove was slightly off, so I just shoved the new key in there real, real hard. I hammered it in there, so I think it oughta stay. I'm thinking about taking it back out and squirting some epoxy or something in there.
