Okay, so if you know of me, or heard stories, you'll have heard that I've had two previous A4's in the past 3 yrs or so. Both having Xenon's on them. My last car ('01.5) got smashed up in a bad accident and I had to revert to driving my older Audi (my first one actually).

It was a 1991 Audi 100.

Here was the problem, I went from having cars with Xenon's to barely visable halogens. So I started doing some research on Xenon Conversion kits.

Let me say, anyone who is fearing doing a conversion or thinks they need E-Codes for the older cars, YOU DON'T!

I'm running a SPP 9004 HID 5300k (Stage II) kit in my car right now and my gosh, it's even better than the OEM Xenon's I had in my two cars. The beam of light is perfect and just slightly higher than my low beams where on the halogens. I've only been flashed once (not even in total darkness, just at dusk) and I've passed 2 cops and I'm not getting pulled over or harassed.

Point being is, the kits are really worth it, and as useless as the halogens were in the '91 100, the Xenon's pick up the slack. Being able to see the road at night is a plus again till I pick up my new ride. Not to mention, I don't know of any 100's with Xenon's. :-)

I'll be posting pictures tomorrow. I've looked my lights side by side with a 330XI BMW and a '03 TT and mine actually look as bright as theirs.

Anyways, anyone thinking of getting the D2S bulbs from SPP, I would HIGHLY recommend it. They might not be the "brightest" but they provide the most contrast to the human eye.

I'll have some better pictures of the Xenon's soon.

http://www.supremepowerparts.com/</a
