And before all the smarty pants tell me that its the same hp either way or more torque with a lease.... :)
I am referring to the warranty issues. For example will/can they make me buy it out at the end of my lease if I chip it?
This is my first NEW car and my first LEASE.
Anyone else leasing and chipped?

I chipped w/ AutoThority. They said they could reprogram the chip back to stock if desired. They offered to do this free for 30 days if I was not satisfied, and I would think they would do it later for little or no charge, for example when turning in the vehicle at the end of the lease.
Also, I understand that eventually, or maybe even now, the dealers will have the capability to return the chip back to factory specs w/ their computer diagnostics (VAG). Owners have expressed a concern on the board about erasing their chips at routine service. The other side of this, though, is that the dealers should be able to return back to stock, if desired, when the car is turned in.

In fact, with the long0term effects of chipping being the only big question mark in my mind, it may make MORE sense to chip with a leased vehicle that you know you'll be turning in in 3 yrs.
