Hi, got my 99.5 1.8T QTS about 3 weeks ago. Loving it!!! I was reading that is really bad for the quattro to have uneven wheel/tire size, thus why did AoA just included the small size spare? Hopefully I never have to use it, but if it is really bad for the quattro, should I not even bother with the smaller spare? Did anyone get the full-size spare standard with their quattro A4?

...the important thing with Quattro is to have tires at all four corners with the same rolling diameter. The mini spare does have the same rolling diameter as the other four tires, so it's perfectly safe to use it as a temporary spare in accordance with the precautions the manual mentions about maximum speed, etc.

Also, did Audi modify the spare area on the 2000 models to compensate for a full size spare? Or will the 99.5s also hold a full size?
