My 99.5 A4 has just stopped honking the horn or flashing the lights when I lock the car. The red light begins flashing on the door--indicating that the alarm is indeed armed--but there's nothing to let me know that I've done so. My car was recently in a fender-bender, and the front end (hood, grill) was damaged. Could this be the problem? Also--I need a good body shop in the Northern Virginia/DC area. I've been told First Choice and Wagon Works are good, but they're booked for more than a month. Any other options?
