Does anyone information about the S4 seats, are they a direct fit, will they closely match the onyx leatherette (meaning would the appearance be accepteble to you) and finally what would they cost. I am ready to order but can't decide on an exterior/interior color combos. Either Pelican Blue or silver with black or clay interior. Help!

The S4 I sat in last week at the Sunset Imports Octoberfest Audi/Porsche show had smooth leather, unlike my A4 with the rough textured leather (I personally like the rough texture leather better).

It was a red S4 with the onyx interior. It had that ugly green wood-like trim and the solid leather seats (sans the suede). Cool car besides the interior changes which I didn't like. The painted side skirts and ground effects are awesome.

Sunset had the '97 911 Twin Turbo with only 15k miles on it on display too. WOW!!! Only $99,000 too, what a deal, break out the checkbook. I got to sit in one of the fastest production road cars made, that was cool...

two sweet looking ~400hp turbo carreras posted times as fast as the chipped A4's (around 62-61 sec) and far from Corey's S4 time (of 58.0 sec) in an AutoX event held last weekend on MArina California. I brief chat with one of the drivers said that the power came in quite late for an AutoX that by the time the power came on, he had to brake, lost the boost and had to wait for it to come back up. That's the main thing with AutoX. Need low end torque and the Audi's (specially the S4) are king of torque. They did run as fast as the Corvette C5's, but I just wish someone was out there who knew how to drive the 911's and put on a time of say 56 sec. Hopefully they will be in Laguna Seca track this November where they will really shine and kick butt. Nice cars though.

One of those 911s at the autox this past weekend was a 911 turbo with 400 bhp. The burgundy one. The black one was normally aspirated at 296 bhp.

One other item, Chris B driving his brothers' 400 bhp beast just barely beat me with a 59.42X when I got a 59.457. Just barely beat me...and me with that lil ole 170 bhp. The owner of the 911 turbo and his son did not fare as well as Chris did in that same car.
