I'm having problems getting my VAG-COM to talk to my 95-A6. I hook it up the adapter to my laptop and the black & white connectors in the fuse panel.
I startup the VAG-COM software and go to the "Options" screen and test the baud rate. When I do this I can see the "Check Engine" MIL light flashing but I get an error on the PC saying that the serial port is OK but the adapter can't be found or is not ready.
It appears that the engine "sees" the PC since the MIL light is flashing but the PC doesn't see the car. I'm guessing that it's a baud rate issue.
I'm using the default value of "0" (auto-detect I assume) but does anyone know the exact value to use. What are all of you using for baud rate?
