Please respond if you know where to connect the power attenna wire from a aftermarket deck in order to use the amplified rear window attenna. The diagram on the radio shows a spot for the attenna, but the wire does not exist. Does the attenna come on when the amplified rear speakers come on? I have a 99.5 1.8T with Concert stereo.

The power wire is part of the antenna cable so you need to get an antenna adapter.
Any stereo shop should have it,I think the Audi adapter is the same as the VW one.
