Who knows if it was a result of all of the Pray-bashing that has occured here in the last couple of years... but the new owners of Pray Audi, in Greenwich, CT, have just changed their name to New Country. Or maybe Malcolm Pray refused to sell them his name. Who knows?
I hope they are better than the former owners (hard not to be) although I'm not optimistic since their new name is an anagram for:
NEW COUNTRY = WE TRY N CON U
Oh, oh...
UUUgh.. snooty sales attitude, prices totally non-competitive.. I'm w/ you, hopefully New Country will be different.. But then, my experience has been that the other dealers around Greenwich area are like that.. Ever walk into Competition Sports Cars?? (BMW dealer) UUUUgh.. Snobs galore.. They have this attitude like you're soliciting them..
I walked into New Country last week and they had the exact S4 I wanted. But the salesman was so rude/snobish that I was turned off right away. He acted like he was doing me a favor. He then went on and on about how they were so big and dealt with the richest people in the world (like dealing with rich people is a privlege!). Also, when I asked about possible discounts in the $500-1000 range like others have been getting he started laughing and said that they would never discount like that. Even though I will have to wait longer for my S4 from Continental it is well worth not having to deal with them.
