I have a 95 A6 with the Gamma radio, and no CD functionality. Is there a CD changer available for this car or do I need to replace the head unit??
Thanks

View Full Version : CD Changer for 95 A6?? jc 07-31-2001, 10:29 AM I have a 95 A6 with the Gamma radio, and no CD functionality. Is there a CD changer available for this car or do I need to replace the head unit?? Thanks Jordan manuva 07-31-2001, 10:39 AM I remember seeing an ad in the audiworld classifieds for it. Check it out. If it's not currently listed, let me know -- I'll pull up the email address of the advitiser from my "Sent Items" folder. Style12v 07-31-2001, 01:27 PM I replaced the head unit with a pioneer primier unit, which has cd-changer control and then had a pioneer 12-cddisc changer put in back. At the same time, I got new speakers and an amp put in, so it was a large project. Seattle Scott 07-31-2001, 08:58 PM omen62 08-01-2001, 08:23 AM I installed a SONY 10 disc FM modulated CD changer in the trunk. They mounted the control panel to the left side of the steering wheel on the dash below the wood paneling. It works great and I love it. It was also, by far, the cheapest way to go. kbyte 08-01-2001, 10:08 AM i put in a panasonic 8 disc version. it works great. i have the Bose system. they installed the controler below the ashtray. it is out of the way but easy to reach. can't open the ashtry but i don't smoke so i don't care. manuva 08-01-2001, 05:06 PM I don't like the sound of my FM Modulated CD Changer. It's a matter of tastes. Guess I'm a bit crazy that way -- today I spent ~$200 on headphones to listen music at work :) Thanks Manu |
