I am going to Europe next month. I have an access
to car parts - own parts store over there. I am
going to buy the parking lights (white) and
maybe euro. headlights for my '93 100CS over there. I was just thinking about putting some
people together who would like to buy something
like that too. Of course I can not carry boxes
with parts with me (its family vacation), but
if I somehow put together interested people, I
can purchase the stuff over there and ship it
all together to U.S. and save on shipping. That
was just something what jumped out of my head.
Did not think about any details. Do you have any
ideas, how to do this? Everybody needs to be
secure, including me - I do not need tens of
people ordering stuff and after I purchase it and
ship it here they cancell or do not pay. So, again, if some of you guys have an idea, send me
an e-mail (chaloupkao@aol.com).

sounds like a good idea, but I really don't know what there is over there? hehheh,

I afraid you will have problems declaring these parts, when you will try to ship them. They will go two different country and you will have to pay custom taxes.

but I could be wrong.

Door trim and front grille from a '97 S6+ ... instead of chrome, it is black. I haven't been able to get part numbers or anything, though.

Clear corners are nice, but other than that there isn't a whole lot for our cars I don't think....

I'd be interested if you could get us actual US$ prices on the items.

Muhammad,

Would it be easier to repaint black the original parts? I am going to start with the grill. A lot of people did it and posted descriptions and pictures. Than I will try to do same things with door trims.

I am still wondering, can I paint black the roof rack (I have a wagon). It made from polished aluminium.

To avoid chipping. Perhaps a body shop could do the job better than we could with a proper primer and such. I'd rather not repaint my original trim so perhaps I could get new trim and have that done.

O.K., Scott, but only if I find two of them.
The first one goes into my car:-)

Yes, in larger quantity the customs can be a problem. That is why I have asked for opinions and ideas.

This place can get clear front corners and rear yellow corners.

http://www.2bennett.com/</a
