My Brake pad wear warning light will not go off.
The pads are OK., I tried to fool the system by putting a wire into the connectors on both sides of the car, but the light still comes on.

Any other place I should be looking at.

Thanks

Jim

See if you can trace the sensor wires back up to a firewall connector and try shorting there.

It may be possible to extract the sockets? from the car side of the harness and look at them too. This usally requires a special tool.

I'm sure you already looked for broken wires near the brakes.

You should be able to isolate the bad side with judicious use of a DMM, e.g. measure for voltage on both sides.

Is this in the car or a Audi diagnostic tool.
Bentley say to check the ohms between to pins in it.

You will be able to measure voltage, resistance and current.
