Hi all,

I'm new to this forum so please excuse if this is not meant to be posted here.

My father has just bought a 1995 A6 2.0l. Great car other than what can only be described as a hesitation once off auto choke, particularly when maintaining steady speed when the car will jolt (almost as if misfiring).

Plugs, fuel filter (in the engine bay), air filter and sensors on the auto choke mechanism have all been replaced but to no avail. The injectors have also had a cleaner run through them (additive put in the petrol tank).

Has anyone else experienced this problem? I am really looking for some help here.

Many thanks in advance

Make sure there are no vacum leaks in the intake?
Check throttle body?
Have the exhaust checked for leaks?

I also am experiencing the exact same miss. It seems fuel related, although I have not tried any remedy yet. Were you able to solve this?
