Has anyone had to replace their coolant reservoir? Mine's leaking where the T-hose connects to the forward nipple. It looks like the plastic covering the molded in brass nipple is cracking away.

I had a hole on the side of it, no clue how it got there.

Part was somewhere below $100, I had the dealer do it because of the need to drain the coolant (flushing it wouldn't be a bad idea either).

Might get away from buying a new one by fixing it with JB-Weld. It works wonders......

Had a new reservoir installed at the dealer just last month. A small crack near the top front hose, steamed every time I drove more than a block. Cost right at $115 for parts and labor at the dealer, and since the car was in their shop I had some recall work done too! Something about a fuel line and a set of fuel injectors. Ended up with new coolant, a full tank of gas (I took it in on empty) and a wash too. And I didn't have to spend the day swearing at it, I got to go to work out of the home office and catch up on some long overdue paperwork.

The one I go to when needed, would clean it, then charge me $50 with out asking me if I wanted it cleaned ;)

I don't know about a recall website, but I just had both of those recalls done to mine. I ordered a new reservoir for 38.55 from Hoehn Audi in Carlsbad, CA, they have great prices!
