I got two cans of 3M Noise damper, that I am gonna try spraying into my door panels.
So far the plan is, mask off the speakers and electical components. Spray with 2-3 coats, and see if it makes a difference.
I have some dynamat in there now, but it doesn't do much. I will post an update with the results after I do it.

I don't have a problem with the noise level...
Never heard of weltec struts... stiffer ride? teaming them with lowering springs?
If you are replacing your cats, hang on to the stock ones... they tend to cost a ton. ;)

Talking to the guy I got them from, they lower the car alittle bit themselves, the ride is stiffer, handling is alot better.
Road noise isn't a problem at all, its actually rather quiet compaired to most cars I have been in. But I figure for $10 in supplies and an hour or so, if I can make it even more quiet why not try? ;) (since I can still hear some noise through the door panels)
Definatly will hang on to the stocks, still have my old airbox and tape deck sitting around ;)

I'll do the Dunlop 5000 symetrical thing soon.
Then I can think about putting lead plate on my windows to reduce noise.

right now for antenna work. I was thinking now could be a good time to carve up the back shelf and add speakers.
Did you add an amplifier for the Pros?
I so excited, this all feels so "12valvey".

I have a 4 x 200 Pioneer amp powering everything (I am going to get a second amp soon for my subs).
Boston Pro's in the back, and Boston Component speakers in the front. Two 10" subs (some weird brand, but are good for the price) with a custom sub built box. Pioneer Premire head unit. Finally I have a pioneer 12-disc changer in back.
All together it sounds great, only problem right now is the amp cuts out if I put the volume past 20, but thats beyond what I would ever listen to.
I think the Boston speakers are great though, worth every penny. My first install (speakers, head unit, I supplied amp but they installed) ended up being around $800.

I put a set on my car last fall. Unfortunately the alignment was off on the front of my car and ruined the fronts. They were nice and quite for about 200 miles (my fault not the tires). They do look narrow compared to the stock 205/55-16 RSA's. I think I probalby should have gone with 215's.

I did the same thing Rick did, except that I thought an under inflation problem may have caused mine to were unevenly ( I had the alignment checked - OK). Any how, my db's are now noisier than hell, and pretty norrow looking by my opinion. I will deal with this until they wear out, then "do the Dunlop SP5000 thing also"
