View Full Version : Anyone have experience with Hoppen/MTM Stage 2? steve 11-13-1998, 05:15 AM Do you like the system? Everyday driveability pretty good? My understanding is that the stage 2 chip is the chip programmed for use with a high flow air filter and cat-back exhaust. I ordered a stage 2 chip from Hoppen, installed a K&N filter element, and, since I'm cheap, had a high performance muffler shop in Denver install a cat-back exhaust system. It all works great, has power in excess of what my about-to-be-sold Eagle Talon AWD turbo had, and is as driveable as the stock system. <p>1997 A4 1.8Tqm, Hoppen chip, K&N filter, cat-back exhaust, Koni shocks, Eibach springs, cool dog, etc. |
