Like some guys here at a4.org, I also have problems with my car concerning the power steering (it overboosts and does not make sense for driving with high velocity).
I went to some dealers which did replace nearly the whole car within the last 18 months. The only thing they did not do is repairing (or even looking for) the power steering itself.

Has anyone got a fix for this problem?
Thanks a lot,
regards

It would install in-line with the PS pump, and reduce the pressure by a certain amount, which would not give you the BMW like feel, but would make it less twitchy, and give you a better steering feel.

I've toyed ith the idea, and even contacted some manufacturers about this, and they seemed quasi-interested.

Anyone interested? let's find out..I may just have to make it.

I agree, since my car gets a bit light in the steering at 120+, although here in the US I don't see those speeds much, but it would make it a more enjoyable car to drive at ANY speed...

Bleed it to where? If you remove too much fluid, the PS pump is likely to fail. Changing to new PS fluid won't do anything to improve the feel either. Not sure what you're referring to.
