View Full Version : Valentine One Install FAQ, how about interior lights tap? Peter Ryckaert 10-13-1999, 05:37 AM I just read the V1 installation details in the FAQ section and they have you running a wire to the fuse box. That seems silly to me. Anyone tapped the interior lights/map lights area for power. I guess I'll just have to do it myself with a multimeter. pauls 10-13-1999, 04:11 PM Its been a while since I hooked the thing up but I can assure you that its up there. I had a little DVO meter to find out the polarity and location of the power source and ground and soldered the wires in. I was also concerned about the fuse and whether or not it would handle the extra load but its been no problem so far and I've turned on all the lights with the detector connected. If you get into trouble I'll take the thing back down and give you the points where I connected it. paulsp@snet.net |
